Film Time and Discussion Group (Mix)

This group work helps service users to break their isolation and provide a safe environment for Turkish, Kurdish, Turkish Cypriot people to socialize. The activity involves watching films, afternoon tea and having discussions on different topics/subjects etc. They also share their issues and try to find new ways of dealing with their life difficulties as well as socialising.

Who can attend to our Handcraft Group Activity?

Derman’s Film and Discussion Group is a mix drop in activity group runs weekly. It is only for the members of the Turkish/Kurdish/Turkish Cypriot communities who reside and registered with a GP in Hackney. Referrals can be made through the GPs, health professionals or by contacting Derman’s services for further advice.
